Our dance forms
Two traditions. One language of devotion.
01
Bharatanatyam
Bharatanatyam originated in the temples of Tamil Nadu. Described in the Natya Shastra, it is known for grace, purity, tenderness, expression, and sculpturesque poses.
Students learn intricate footwork, expressive hand gestures called mudras, and storytelling through movement.
02
Mohiniyattam
Mohiniyattam is a classical dance form from Kerala, India, believed to have originated in the 16th century and recognized by the Sangeet Natak Akademi.
Its gentle, swaying movement embodies feminine grace, recalling palms in the breeze and ocean waves.
